Frequently Asked Questions

These are some of the most common questions we get about our team and what we do.If you have any others, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Do you really hunt ghosts?

For lack of a better term, yes, we are ghost "hunters." We prefer the term paranormal investigators. What we do entails so much more than simply looking for ghosts. Our goal is to either confirm or disprove a paranormal presence by using proven methods.

Are ghosts real?

This is a tricky one. There is strong evidence both supporting and disproving the existence of ghosts. In the end, it's really up to the individual to decide whether they believe or not.

What kinds of evidence do you collect?

There are many different kinds of evidence. For the most part, its photographic. Sometimes, though, we're able to capture an entity on video or an EVP (electronic voice phenomenon) with a digital recorder, which is essentially a spirit attempting to communicate.

Have you ever seen a ghost?

That depends on your definition of "ghost." Many of us have seen shadows or unexplainable movement. A few have been lucky enough to see full-body apparitions, which can look just like a living person.

What kinds of equipment do you use?

We use digital cameras, DVR (digital video recorder) systems, flashlights, digital voice recorders, camcorders, and EMF (electromagnetic field) detectors. Find out more about investigation equipment on our Investigating 101 page.
